The Balloon Art Festival

BAPIA have organised a public Balloon Art Festival at The Red Dragon Centre, located in the heart of Cardiff Bay, this weekend to coincide with the launch of The Green Balloon Campaign and International Balloon month.

As the UK's first public 'Balloon Art Festival' the event will go live on Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th, and Monday 29th August, all day free of charge.

Giant fish and octopus will be just some of the amazing balloon art on display for all to see with a giant balloon world inspired by creatures of the underwater world.

The sculptures have been created by world class instructors and international award winning sculptors including Wales' very own Doctor Bob Armstrong CBA.

The festival will also officially mark the launch of The Green Balloon Campaign, the project which promotes the true facts about balloons and the environment.

All balloons used at the festival will be 100% biodegradable and a promotional team will be available from mid-day to meet and greet visitors to talk about the project and the creations.
