Balloons and Tunes qualify

Pam and Paul Pearce of Balloons and Tunes are constantly busy working on making their training courses 'different', 'new', and 'more than weddings'.

Recently they have taken this philosophy a step further and have had their unit accepted to be a recognised training centre for OCNWMR (Open College Network West Midlands Region), licensed by the National Open College Network to award nationally recognised qualifications and regionally accredited units and by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education to approve and certificate Access to Higher Education Diplomas.

Pam and Paul have also received notification that their training of NABAS level 1 & Level 2 and their balloon twisting course, which will upgrade to a level 2, have also been accepted as approved courses for OCNWMR by its panel (the OCN level 2 certification is equivalent to a 'C' grade in GCSE qualification's), which is good news all round - for both the trainers and trainee's!
