Award winning Mask-arade
The Maskateers at Mask-arade recently collected the Creative Industry of The Year accolade from ex- Top Gear presenter Quentin Willson at the recent Coventry Telegraph Business Awards in front of a packed audience at The Ricoh Arena.
The Maskateers stole the show on the evening by donning masks of the presenter when collecting the award.
They had also produced masks of co-presenter Bobby Gould especially for the event - Gould was so impressed that he took them to the Talksport studios the next day for his fellow presenters to wear!
It’s been an incredibly busy period for the Warwickshire based party mask company; leading up to the Royal Wedding, they shipped nearly 300,000 masks of Kate, William and other members of the Royal Family. High Street stores including Clintons, Birthdays and Cards Galore all stocked the best selling celebrity masks.
Mask-arade’s phenomenal success has not gone unnoticed by the BBC as the Dragons’ Den team has been keeping tabs on the company since its appearance on the BBC2 programme in 2009 and a film crew has been following them around in recent weeks for a follow up series to be shown in the Autumn.
Director Dean Walton commented: “The TV stations just can’t get enough of us at the moment! both BBC and ITV featured us in the build up to the Royal Wedding and the Dragons’ Den team followed us up to Newcastle recently where we gave out 5000 Tony ‘Bomber’ Brown's to all travelling West Brom fans.”
